Fellowships Within India 
  • "AIF William J. Clinton Fellowship for Service in India"
    • Duration: 10 months, full-time
    • Eligibility: United States or Indian citizens aged 21-34 having a bachelor’s degree
    • Format: Volunteer service programme that matches fellows with development organizations on scalable and sustainable development projects
    • Deadline: January and October 
  • "Legislative Assistants to Members of Parliament (LAMP) Fellowship"
    • Duration: 10-11 months
    • Monthly stipend - INR 20,000.
    • Eligibility: 25 years of age or below; bachelor’s degree
    • Format: LAMP Fellows are mentored by a Member of Parliament (MP) and work full-time with the assigned MP during a given year, starting from the Monsoon session of Parliament till the end of the Budget session including extensive research support to her/his MP for their parliamentary work.

  • "Punjab Youth Leaders Program"
    • Duration: Two years
    • Monthly stipend - INR 20,000.
    • Eligibility: Below 35 years of age; work experience of at least two years
    • Format: A Punjab Youth Leader will work with clusters of government schools, an area within a district of Punjab which comprises of 10-15 schools.

  • "Revitalising Rainfed Agriculture Network (RRA N) Fellowship"
    • Duration: One year, full-time
    • Monthly stipend - INR 35,000-50,000.
    • Eligibility: Post Graduate in agriculture or allied sectors/ development studies/ social work with proven experience in agro-ecology/ organic farming/ water management, etc. with minimum of 2-5 years in the related areas
    • Format: Fellows will be working closely under the coordination/ guidance of thematic working groups of the RRA Network in different agro climatic zones of the country.

  • "Sukhibhava Foundation: The Period Fellowship"
    • Duration: 15 months
    • Monthly stipend - INR 25,000.
    • Eligibility: At least 21 years of age; fluency in written and spoken Hindi; bachelor’s degree
    • Format: Fellows will be given a chance of ending the stigma around menstruation and leadership qualities in the development sector.

  • "Vision India Foundation Fellowship | Rashtram Accelerator"
    • Duration: 1-3 years
    • Eligibility: Graduation / Post-graduation
    • Format: Program has focused on nurturing leaders to solve the most pressing global problems.

  • "Happy Children’s Fellowship Programme"
    • Duration: Six months
    • Eligibility: Fluency in Hindi; love working with children between the ages of 5 to 18.
    • Format: Fellows will gain grassroots exposure and experience by working closely in a village setting in rural Uttarakhand.with the Happy Children’s Library.

  • "The AlterNarrative Fellowship by Thrive Foundation"
    • Duration: One year, extendable to a maximum of two years 
    • Eligibility: Post-graduation in Psychology or Social Work; fluency in Tamil
    • Format: Fellows will be placed in schools 3 days a week. Fellows will work with children in small group sizes taking sessions covering the different aspects of Social-emotional learning (SEL) and take individual counseling sessions for students.

  • "Changelooms Learning and Leadership Program for Early-Stage Social Entrepreneurs"
    • Duration: One year
    • Eligibility: Young social entrepreneurs (between 18-35 years of age) focused on areas of  Social inclusion, Constitutional literacy, Education, Community development or Environment
    • Format: Intensive mentoring to strengthen young social entrepreneurs to lead social change initiatives
    • Deadline: March
  • "ANANT FELLOWSHIP FOR CLIMATE ACTION"
    • Duration: One year, part-time
    • Eligibility: Interest in implementing solutions to climate change
    • Format: A one-year program, based on a mentor-mentee framework (Track 1: Fellows willing to commit to a 1 year fully residential fellowship.Track 2: Fellows who are advanced in their careers and continue to work will have their curriculum and mentorship experience made flexible and customized to their availability.)

  • "Gandhi Fellowship Program"
    • Duration: Two years, residential
    • Monthly stipend - INR 14,000 and rent-free accommodation medical insurance
    • Eligibility: Graduates or Post-graduates across all disciplines. Age below 26 years. 
    • Format: The fellowship is designed to develop young change leaders who embody and practice leadership skills that are needed to cause large scale social and public systems change.

  • "Indicorps Fellowship"
    • Duration: 1-2 years,
    • Eligibility: a university degree 
    • Format:  Fellows are responsible for implementing high impact projects that have been defined by Indicorps and local grassroots organizations to address particular community challenges.

  • "Teach for India Fellowship"
    • Duration: Two years
    • Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree and fluency in English
    • Format: The Teach For India Fellowship program is an opportunity for India’s brightest and most promising youth, from the nation’s best universities and workplaces, to serve as full-time teachers to children from low-income communities in some of the nation’s most under-resourced schools.

  • "Young India Fellowship (YIF) at Ashoka University"
    • Duration: One year
    • Eligibility: An undergraduate/postgraduate degree 
    • Format: The Young India Fellowship (YIF) is a year-long residential postgraduate diploma programme in liberal studies at Ashoka University.

  •  "Delhi Assembly Research Centre Fellowship Programme"
    • Duration: One year
    • Monthly stipend - INR 60,000
    • Eligibility: An undergraduate/postgraduate degree 
    • Format: Delhi Assembly provides a unique opportunity to young minds to be part of the Delhi Assembly Research Centre (DARC).

  • "Bhumi Fellowship"
    • Duration: Two years
    • Eligibility: Graduates who can read and speak Tamil fluently
    • Format: The Bhumi Fellowship is a full-time paid two-year program designed to develop educational changemakers to lead the next movement in the public education system

  • "Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associates Program (Haryana)"
    • Duration: One year
    • Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree and one year of work experience/postgraduate degree
    • Format: Cohort of 25 associates work with district administration while representing the Chief Minister's Office to drive mass impact on the ground.

    • Format: Field Fellows coordinate a specific project or program at our Center of Development in India and get great hands-on experience by supporting local staff on various projects and programs.

  • "Sampark Young Leaders Programme"
    • Duration: Two years, full-time
    • Monthly stipend - INR 19,000
    • Eligibility: Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Development Communication, Journalism, or Social Work.
    • Format: Unique 2-year leadership mentoring and training opportunity where fellows will work on the Sampark Smart Shala Programme

    • Duration: Two years, full-time

    • Duration: One year
    • Eligibility: Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline
    • Format: The Fellowship is open to students and practitioners from all professional and educational backgrounds with a preference to those from the disciplines of architecture, design, planning, environmental science, and engineering, civil and construction engineering, IT, social sciences and humanities.

  • "Chief Minister Fellowship Program (Maharashtra)"

    • Format: This program is designed to provide fellows good understanding of governance and policymaking.

    • Format: This Fellowship is about engaging with some real-life challenges, tasks, and timelines, to give you hands-on experience and immersion into urban and rural India’s realities and a precursor for your own action plan at the end of the Fellowship.

    • Duration: 11 months
    • Eligibility: Graduate with minimum one-year work experience
    • Format: Fellows will experience the state policies, developmental programs of different state departments

  • "India Fellow Program"
    • Duration: 13 months
    • Monthly stipend - INR 16,000
    • Eligibility: Graduate with 21-28 years of age
    • Format: The training focus on development theory and practice, leadership skills, program management, organizational development and innovative approaches including design thinking, participatory rural appraisal and systems thinking.

  • "The Jijivisha Fellowship by Slam Out Loud"
    • Duration: 1 year, part-time
    • Eligibility: Above 18 years of age; at least 1 year of college education completed with interest in an art forms (poetry, storytelling, theatre, or visual arts)
    • Format: The Jijivisha Fellowship brings professional artists to learning spaces on a leadership-development journey. Through the art forms of poetry, storytelling, theatre and visual arts, the artists build in children Socio-Emotional learning and life- relevant skills and in turn become lifelong leaders for social change through arts.

    • Format: The Naropa Fellowship is a one-year, fully-residential, post-graduate, academic programme focused on creating and nurturing agents of change who will work towards fostering an ecosystem of entrepreneurship and growth while preserving the cultural heritage of Ladakh and the Himalayan region.

    • Format: The Acumen Fellowship program is an intensive leadership development program cultivating a pipeline of tomorrow’s social changemakers.

  • "India Smart Cities Fellowship"
    • Duration: One year
    • Eligibility: Fresh Graduates, Post Graduates with 1st Division or minimum 60% marks or PhDs from premier institutions/universities.
    • Format: Smart Cities Fellows bring passion and energy to the tough but exciting work of implementing cutting edge, high-impact solutions to key urban problems

  • "Praja Fellowship Program"
    • Duration: Six months
    • Eligibility: Students pursuing graduation or postgraduation
    • Format: The Praja Fellowship program is designed to challenge the participating fellows to understand the ground-level realities to do with governance and understand the powers and functions of a Councillor while working alongside them.

  • "Azim Premji Foundation Fellowship"
    • Duration: Two years, full-time
    • Monthly stipend - INR 35,000
    • Eligibility: 4 - 10 years of rich work experience. Degree in any discipline. Proficiency in English and any one of the local languages (Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu) is mandatory.
    • Format: The Azim Premji Foundation Fellowship is an opportunity for working professionals to immerse themselves in the public education system of the country for a period of one year.

  • "Chief Minister’s Urban Leaders Fellowship (CMULF)"
    • Duration: Two years
    • Monthly stipend - INR 75,000
    • Eligibility: Below 35 years of age who are passionate about public service and are willing to work for two years.
    • Format: The Chief Minister’s Urban Leaders Fellowship programme provides a unique opportunity to young leaders across India to work within Delhi government to address some of the most pressing urban challenges in India, and experience what ‘making change happen’ looks like.

  • "The Gender Lab Fellowship"
    • Duration: 10 months (June-March) full-time
    • Eligibility: Between the age of 20 and 25 years and Fluent in Hindi(required) and anyone of English/ Marathi/ Gujarati
    • Format: Each fellow will be facilitating workshops for 13-14-year-old girls from various schools in Mumbai. Alongside, they will be learning about gender bias and breaking their own stereotypes so that they can reach their potential while also taking others (families, communities, etc) ahead with them
